About APAC Robyn Hackathon
Robyn - is an open sourced Marketing Mix Modeling (MMM) R-package, developed by Meta Marketing Science team. It enables dynamic and actionable marketing decision making by modernizing MMM with machine learning techniques.
APAC Robyn Hackathon (Online) invites data scientists, marketing analysts, and MMM practitioners to build next generation marketing decision making solutions with Robyn. We are looking forward to unlocking new experiences and applications of Robyn with the power of innovative techniques, useful features, creative visualization and many more.
Requirements
What to Build
We will offer two tracks for the hackathon challenge, (1) Visualization, (2) Innovation track.

Visualization track In the visualization track, we expect to see efforts to improve Robyn's visualization. The following are examples but not limited to. e.g. upgrade current Robyn output plots, create a new visualization, create dashboards or advertiser interfaces |

Innovation track Propose improvements of Robyn codes other than visualization. The subject can be a wide range of applications and innovative use cases with Robyn, from modeling, validation of results, deep diving into Robyn’s output, etc. The proposed solution can be combined with other analytical methods or open sources. The following are examples but not limited to:

What to Submit
- Provide a URL to your GitHub repository with access for judging and testing.
- Include a video (less than 5 minutes) that demonstrates your submission. Videos must be uploaded to YouTube, Vimeo, Facebook Video, or Youku and made public.
- Identify which track you are submitting
- Optional and encouraged: Provide additional materials such as a slide deck, images, etc. to give us a better understanding of your project
- All required fields must be completed and submitted on Devpost BEFORE the deadline. Late entries will NOT be accepted.
Eligibility
- Team or Individual: The hackathon is open to both individuals and organizations. An eligible individual may join more than one Team or Organization, but an eligible individual who is part of a Team or Organization should not also enter the Hackathon on an individual basis.
- The maximum team size is 5 eligible Individuals
- Only specific countries included: Australia, China, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Japan, South Korea, Malaysia, New Zealand, Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand
- Age: Above legal age of majority in country of residence
