Extend deadline

Hi, just wondering if the deadline can be extended...I find it time consuming to understand the whole MMM concept and build dashboards with R, really want to build something of quality that I can contribute to the community ...

    Hello everyone, thank you for asking and sharing your current status.
    This is something I cannot confirm. Currently we don’t have a plan to extend the deadline, but we had similar asks from multiple participants, so it could be discussed with organizers and judges after reviewing the status of submission end of the deadline today(Singapore time).

    Please understand that we also need to consider those who submitted on time, official rules, and the next timelines. Thus, the decision can be complex and we will update here for more detail later.

    In the meantime, can you share how concrete your current work is? For examples, if you will be able to submit the work in next few days or one week? If there will be not much difference on submissions even after accepting late submissions, there will be no meaning for extending it.

    Yes I agree with you, it's not fair to those who submit on time... maybe the organizer can make a decision based on the feedback from the participants, if any of the participants do not agree to the extension, then we should not extend the deadline ...

    But ya, my current work is 80% done, I managed to create my own visualization and dashboard system, but stuck on integrating R with dashboards... I'm sure I'll be able to submit the work in the next 2 days.

    By the way, I will fully respect any decision made by the organizer.

    Hi Grayson,

    Is your work based on MMM and related dataset?? In that case, you may consider submit the current work even if it is not based in R, but adding some idea/explanation on how it can be integrated in R to improve current Robyn open source.
